From playing Borderlands (fps/rpg), and already being a big fan of the Pokemon series, i think it's time i get into RPG's.

I'll be getting Fable, Fallout 3, and maybe Oblivion off a friend.
Looking forward to Fable and Fallout 3.

What are some good RPG's for pc?
What are your favourites, and why do you like them?

yes ive been wanting to check out diablo 2.

and no i havnt played fable, lol.
Dont have an xbox, and only got a pc game-worthy laptop a year ago, been preoccupied with uni and shooters.

yes, but the introduction of ev training and the physical/special attack split made it even better.

-the NWN games are pretty good
-everyone seems to love diablo but I didnt like it that much, the hack n slash gets very repetitive after a few hours (if you like diablo, check out titan quest though, very similar)
-baldurs gate is pretty good, its like old NWN but you control several people instead of just one
-im playing dark messiah of M&M now, its pretty linear and not too hard, wouldnt recommend it
-if you want to go out and buy a game, dragon age origins looks to be promising

Diablo 2 is epic
Titan Quest is insanely epic
All pokemon FTW (love each one more and more)!
Warcraft 3 is good (dont confuse yourself with shitty WOW btw)
GTA series
Hellgate London is alright though no multiplay
Prototype is good until you finish it and then never open it again

the might and magic games in general are pretty good (except that the graphics are outdated now), but dark messiah is very different and not in a good way. whole series has declined since 3DO went out and Ubisoft came in

I just watched the dragon age origins video review at gamespot and they basically bowed down and honoured the game as a god. it does look really good though, probably the landmark game in between Oblivion and Diablo III

warcraft 3 is more rts than rpg though it does have a single rpg campaign in the expansion (this is not very good).....
Baldurs gate is awesome...only prob is, ur guys stay dead, they don't resurect.
