Just finished my half yearlies except for english. I think I did okay for all of them except mx2. I have this strange problem of panicking when I am unable to do a question because I'm so used to being able to do every single question like in mx1

God, I'm surprised how many people do x2 for either Maths, English or History, combined with chem, phys and all.
My aims:

Gen Maths - Pass
Std English - 75% +
Ancient - 85% +
Modern - 80% +
SOR1 - 85% +
Business Studies - 75% +

For ancient and modern I'm not doing an exam, our school is doing speeches, so i hope its a lot easier than doing any exams for them, even though there due in when exams are on, which means i have only be at school for 30 mins on one day :) Some of my aims seem pretty low, but the English and Business Studies markers at my school, mark quite hard, which is a good thing i guess.

Are you sure?
lols, I was making a joke on the "Asians are good at maths" stereotype but there is a highly disproportionate amount of Asians on this site compared to the whole population, I'd estimate about 50% of the regular posters here are Asian.

And by the way, would that include Arabs, Afghans, Uzbeks, Kazakhs . . . (as it should)?
You're right technically but from my experience when people refer to Asia they typically mean East and Southeast Asia.

That's what I thought. I've been having the feeling when saying azns people refer to: Chinese (from PRC, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, & the Asian Chinese diaspora), Koreans, Vietnamese & other SE Asians. But not the Japs who, I suspect, prefer not to be classified as Asians.

Eghhh oh god, I so don't want to do these exams.

English Advanced Paper 1: 90+
English Advanced Paper 2: 90+
Mathematics: 93+
Mathematics Extension 1: 80+
Ancient History: 95+
Geography: 93+
Economics: 90+

And once I (hopefully) make my switch from E1 English to Ext History next week...

History Extension: 75+

Hehehe, it's unweighted though but I have to catch up on a lot and I'll be damned if I continue with Navigating the fucking Global.

If that doesn't pan out....

English Extension 1: 80+

Physics >98%
Maths (Ext. 1) >90%
Maths (Ext. 2) >95%

...for some reason i seem to find ext 2 maths tests easier than the ext 1 ones :S
