lol is it me or are umbrella's overly expensive ? plus they break after using them for like 5 times - and with the weather we're having right now, they'll probably break after like 5 minutes in the rain.

ah well, its probably just my asianess ..

Two of mine broke yesterday! One straight after school, and another later on that night :(

I don't use umbrellas, well I probably would if I could remember to take them places. Usually results in me running through the rain with my arms above my head trying to stop my hair getting wet, or trying to persuade someone that I'd be a really good friend if they shared their umbrella.

this weather's not fun though =[ I drove by Maroubra beach this morning and the waves last night washed sand all the way up to the street.

We just finished Labour Markets. Starting on Financial Markets soon.

Apparently we're behind and need to work faster :mad1:

How about you?

We've done everything but Labour and Financial markets. We're doing financial markets now, so labour markets will be the last thing that we do. It's kinda self-study from textbook though. My teacher skips "unimportant" bits (which is practically everything except the budget and RBA/monetary policy) and so we have to catch up ourselves.

Wow, you're way ahead.
Why do teachers do that? That's the same with mine, he either explains it so much we become utterly confused or he doesn’t explain it at all.

At first I kinda hated how he would always skip things or went through them so fast that in the end we're all left confused. But I think I see why he does it now. If we were going at a fairly slow pace, but covering every little aspect, we wouldn't be able to finish the course in time or have enough time to focus on the really important bits.

I'm using the Dixon textbook, and the explainations in there are really easy to understand and stuff. I guess if there's something in particular that I don't understand, I just ask the teacher.
