Jachie, you don't have to explain... I seriously have nothing against you. This is all light-hearted crap that doesn't mean a thing to me. I don't hold grudges. So again, I have nothing against you. It's fun to annoy you though because it gets you worked up :) You start explaining, etc.. The frustration is magic :)

Smithers, I did a quick google search for "left-wing" to see what would come up. I just found that article interesting, it was one of the first few results. But everything else was pretty much neutral. Nothing bias and whatnot.

This is Australia, not Cuba or Venezuala. The days of socialism in this country are long over.

Equal opportunity (capitalism etc) is good, however capitalism fails in that it makes people obsessed with the wrong things. So due to the failures of human nature, I now support parts of socialism so people stop having such crap lives (they need direction ;)). Though I think I'll always be a right man at heart.

My English teacher would have a fit with you. She did with a classmate of mine.

"How do you spell 'you're' as in 'you're' a pig?"

"...your?"

"Okay, stay back after this lesson."

How was your school day? 2008.

So,.

ticky2002 and Ms. BRIGHTSIDE have decided that another one of these threads should start, as the old one has been closed.

HHeelllloooo... from jes-jes7.

Oh. Has anyone else been taught that in (essays/assignments and things) you should pressume the marker knows nothing (even though they do know their stuff).?

Today we were told that in English you should expect the marker to know their stuff...

Anyone else heard that? We hadn't.

So,. How was your school day?

P.S. Watch Skins on SBS at 10pm EST Mondays.

MY school day was fun... I didn't realise it was socially unacceptable for a YR12 to introduce himself and try to befriend fresh meat (YR11) .. hehe dumb yr 11.

Re: How was your school day? 2008.

Frees - did maths homework.
English - absolutely nothing, cos the teacher was going through our assessments with us individually, so everyone else spent the whole double talking.
Modern - went back and did some more stuff on the homefront in WWI.
Chem - nothing, teacher was away.
Physics - finished of some textbook questions on M&G

Oh and Skins is a pretty sweet show.
