Hey Guys,
I accepted (completed part 1) an offer for UNSW Med Science.
But got another offer in second round and am going to take that.
How do i decline the accepted offer?

well i had a discussion about this with a lady from my enrollment advisory day (uncle) and it seems that by accepting a secondary offer you forfiet a previous offer even if you accepted

Uncanny i did the exact same thing. What course are you going to study now and at which uni? And by the way i think by accepting the second round offer it automatically voids the offer you accepted in the first round.

i was just getting worried because unsw keep sending me material..
i was offered an Oral health position at newcastle and im going to take it> what about yourselves?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the information - I'm in the same predicament.

I received a main round offer for combined law at UNSW, and I accepted it - making me a UNSW student.

I then received a second round offer from Usyd (as well as a merit Scholarship), so I chose Usyd and accepted that offer.

I enrolled at Sydney so I'm technically a Sydney student now, but UNSW keep sending me material, so I was wondering if UNSW still considers me a student and expects me to start this year.

Hopefully, my acceptance of the Sydney offer has forfeited the UNSW offer.

If your new offer isn't at the same uni, how are they necessarily going to know that you are no longer going to be attending? UAC doesn't administer enrolment, and you are now an enrolled student.

to terminate enrolment at UTS I just had to fill out an online form and that was that. No clue how you'd do it at UNSW but at the very least log into myunsw and withdraw from any subjects you're enrolled in right now so at the very least there's no financial penalty.

If you can't login then I imagine you're no longer a unsw student.

Pretty sure you need to formally withdraw from the first course you have enrolled in. At UNSW, I think you need to submit this form:

Definitely check with your respective uni in any case - I wouldn't just leave it and hope for the best!!

i rang up today to find out. if you accepted the offer but did not enrol you do not have to formally pull out.
