Katie hasnt seen any bears, but she did see a man leading a pony down the street.... which was quite odd. Especially as Katie thought it was a bear the first time she saw it

Lynn is amused. And sunburnt, but that doesn't really matter (Lynn has not been sunburnt - or out in the sun much - for over a year, so it is sort of half-educational).

Lynn muchly enjoyed today's get together, even if she was giggling almost all the time and even though Justin and Marcus threw sticks and bread at her almost constantly. And for the record, Lynn had a two-hour-nap as soon as she got home, so she is "normal" now :D:D:D

Lynn, after thinking about it on the train ride home, notes that she and Susan were both quite baffled that all of their predictions and calculations were not quite correct. The boys were somewhat on time (Susan and Lynn predicted that they would all be ten minutes late. They also did not think they would all arrive together) and they did not eat half as much as what Susan and Lynn thought they would - if Lynn's memory serves her correctly, the boys only nibbled on chocolate, a mini chicken drumstick or two, and ginger beer. She is now quite concerned that the boys are not eating enough, particularly as they are all still growing boys :p

After Justin and Alan left early, Marcus, Susan and Lynn found a few duckponds - complete with ducks, ibis and waterhens (and ducklings!!!). And eels! How could Lynn forget the eels... especially after she was terrified they'd leap out of the water and bite her toes (Lynn, having short enough legs - first time ever that it has come in handy - was able to dangle her legs over the side of the pond barrier without getting her feet wet). Marcus hand-fed one of the ibises - which seemed to also like pecking his fingers, poor duckie - and running off on a tangent, Lynn asks whether anyone else has seen the relatively tame pelican at the Fish Markets?

Lynn wishes to reiterate that Susan is a very mature, organised person who babysitted Lynn quite well all the way from Hornsby to the city (as Lynn was quite tired, she was very, very chatty... and would not shut up). Alan still has eyes like lightbulbs (how DOES he do that?) and <moving onto the Good Greek Boys now> Justin is really very, very humorous - and when in shoes, is taller than a barefoot Marcus :D (Lynn, in retrospect, is quite disappointed that he did not talk about his vampiric elephants) And Marcus, who has had a haircut (he can now see properly! What an achievement!)... still needs new jeans. :p

Lynn is disappointed that Katie, Amber and Thomas could not come (upon arriving back home, Lynn found her mobile face-down on her desk, with an apology from Thomas about not being able to come) but if Katie is busy and Amber is a party animal, we cannot blame them :D

Lynn will upload her photos just as soon as she figures out how/gets her brother to do it for her, whichever comes first. She WILL become more technologically literate, and she WILL grow, and she WILL develop some sort of magical shield that rebutts all the objects thrown in her direction back to the sender.

But maybe next year.

Justin thinks that he would have talked about vampiric elephants if someone brought the topic up. He has a lot of crap in his head, and can't remember it all. ;)

Justin thinks Marcus is a nice Greek boy, and is even nicer because he is shorter than Justin.

Lynn also thinks that "Bonnie ---- (somethingarather, Lynn has forgotten)" is also a very nice Greek Boy :p

Lynn will try her best to bring up vampiric elephants next time. She will also try to get some sort of grip on her giggles, so that Justin will see that she does indeed have a brain in there... somewhere.

Amber bursts violently into tears as she discovers that she has been forgotten; she had not been informed about this latest I-PR meet up and would have been perfectly able to attend if only she HAD known... (points evil eyes at every member)

Lion King was excellent, and Amber asks which character Lynn's music teacher played? Amber thought the cast was entirely South African?
Whilst in Sydney Amber dined in Leichardt (in the swanky section) and even trooped into Versace just so that she could say that she'd been in there. Although she did not think much of the selection for females, rather the masculine range impressed her much more! Ahhh....silk shirts and ties.....mmmmmmmmm :D:D

Amber loves and misses you all, particularly Lynn, Marcus, Susan and of course the GoRgEoUs Alaaaaaaan!!!!!!!! :p

Lynn DID, in fact, sms Amber about the get-together (including proposed dates), to which Amber replied that she was "completely booked for the next two or three weeks" ("Remember - we were discussing EE2 marks as well!" - Lynn cries in an attempt to redeem herself). **

One of Lynn's dancing teachers, Juliette Verne, was in the ensemble. The entire cast, Lynn thinks, is not entirely south african, but rather, a mix - with the vast majority of the adult "hero" leads (eg Nala and Simba) having darker skin - whether they are African-American, or Kiwi (as was the case when Lynn watched the show).

** EDIT:
To Lynn's recollection, the sms conversation which was some time in December some time after the 18th also included some ranting about the EE2 marks - namely that Amber and Lynn were a bit annoyed they did not get higher marks (although Lynn thinks she remembers that Amber got a higher mark than her - which was 35, so it is ok!). If, however, this is all a figment of Lynn's imagination (which is possible) or if Lynn did not note the exact time period in which Amber was occupied, then she apologises profusely to Amber and offers chocolate and flowers as a peace offering.

Marcus is outraged - "you were wearing shoes!!!" (hehe), but he would like to say that he thinks Justin is also a nice Greek boy; and yet he is gravely disappointed that Amber missed the get-together!

*misses Amber* :(

Amber says that she was actually ON Oxford St last week, on ummmm..... thurs or friday? And wonders if Alan was working or not. Amber feels she should have located Cotton On and checked to see herself, but she was feeling a little lost anyway and probably would have gotten even more lost had she attempted to.

*Amber misses everyone*

Ambs accepts flowers and choccies from Lyn, and says that yes it was around the 18th of December that they had the sms discussion, but that Amber actually said that she was "busy for the next couple of weeks" and that, in fact, finished on Jan 2nd. Never mind, no point crying over spilt milk! Marcus has told Amber of the great time everyone had, and Amber has also seen a pic.

*Amber spreads hugs to all - FEEL THE LOVE PEOPLE!*

Thomas giggles tomboyishly (mix between girlishly and boyishly) and says he's never met Alan but he imagines he looks like me. Only not.

ALAN WAS! ALAN WAS!
ON BOTH DAYS!!!

AND TO THINK OF THE PHALLIC COVERSATIONS ALAN AND AMBER COULD HAVE HAD ALOUD ALLOWING ALL TO HEAR!!! AND THEN AMBER COULD HAVE SAVED ALAN FROM THE OLD SCARY MAN WHO DARED TRY TO FLIRT WITH YOUNG (INNOCENT) (SEXY) ALAN!!!!!

Alan proposes that all IPR members gather in a circle to deckslap Amber.

Marcus thinks that Alan is an awesome flirt in general. :p
Marcus also thinks that I-PR has truly begun to flourish, as it's members have met; as it's members have become closer friends; and for it's legacy engenders these bonds of joy and togetherness. Marcus thanks I-PR.

Lynn apologises again to Amber, saying that she (Lynn) should have gone the extra mile with the paranoid emails (or contacted Amber via sms). Lynn states firmly that this problem will never happen again!

EDIT:
For the first time ever, Lynn has discovered that she is leaving the country not on the ninth, but in fact, tommorrow! She is not exactly sure how she got the dates mixed up but thinks it has something to do with the time period the trip was originally planned to coincide with... (She would also like to assure everyone that she has not been avoiding them on msn over the last week - she has merely been doing a lot of juggling and it has taken up a lot more time and effort than she initially thought it would)

Lynn strongly suggests that IPR meet up - yes, all of them! - during the time she is away, and not wait for her to come back. Lynn thinks somewhere semi-shady near the water would be nice, so Marcus and Justin can throw bread - at ducks - and so Susan can sit in the shade. :)

Lynn bids all IPR members a temporary farewell!
