Katie farewells Alan and hopes he has a fun filled day she assures him that her day will be good as she is packing for schoolies tomorrow!!! Hooray!

Justin is not going to Schoolies, but hopes that Katie enjoys herself.

Katie is going to a beach down south with her friends for a week. Not really the conventional "schoolies" just a week of tanning, swimming, relaxing and minimal drinking (for Katie at least) She wonders why Justin isnt going away?

Justin isn't going away because the traditional schoolies doesn't appeal to him, he has no money and he is searching for a job.

He has put in 8 applications, and hasn't heard anything back.

Katie agrees that the traditional schoolies isnt of any interest to her which is why she isnt going to the gold coast. She is sorry that Justin hasnt heard back from any jobs and states that supermarkets may not be the most glamorous workplaces but are easy to get jobs in. Katie has worked at Franklins for two years and quite likes it.

Justin doesn't particularly want to work in a place like Franklins or Woolworths, because he finds it boring enough shopping there. He has applied at Big W (two stores), Hoyts, Electronics Boutique, Sanity, Target and Angus and Robertson.

Hmm... perhaps he only put 7 applications in. He can't remember if there was another one.

Lynn is sorry that she missed the tail end of Alan but cheerfully greets Justin and Katie. Lynn would like to announce that it took FOREVER to get to sleep last night because it was too hot. Lynn feels that Justin and Lynn are very temperature-sensitive - ie cannot get to sleep until the temp drops down or rises (with help of blankets) to an appropriate temperature.

LYNN WANTS A POOL! NOW!

Justin greets Lynn, but doesn't want a pool because it's too much work to clean.

Hmm Katie understands that supermarket work is boring, but thinks that it is the fellow workmates that makes working fun. She previously worked at Gloria Jeans with some nice people but some horrible people and had no fun at all there. Katie doesnt mind so much about her job as it is just an 'in between' job while she is still at school/uni before she gets a 'real' job. She thinks that persistance is the main thing in getting a job, but thinks that maybe the places Justin is applying for have already hired extra staff for christmas? She thinks he should not lose heart or give up as she is sure there are many many other people who would be willing to hire a nice guy like Justin

Justin will certainly keep trying, and is mainly ticked off because he has heard nothing from Big W. He knows they are hiring, as they have not yet sent him the "We don't need you" letter (which he got when he applied there a few months back), and is very annoyed that they don't even have the courtesy to let him know.

He hopes that the applications he put in yesterday (Hoyts, EB and Target) are at least followed up.

Hmm. Lynn wants one of those cute pool-cleaning guys to go with the pool Or one of those weird sucking, cleaning machines that scare her. *raises eyebrow*

Lynn is also supposed to get a job, but so couldn't be bothered... Lynn is procrastinating muchly. The only job Lynn wants is that of Dance Teacher.

Katie greets Lynn and states that she would like a pool... but love the beach more. Katie feels cooped up in normal swimming pools and loves the waves and swell of the ocean. Oh and jsut as a random point Katie remembers that Lynn watched the OC at her afterparty? Katie and her friends are addicted to the OC and got one of their parents to bring a tape of that nights episode to their afterparty so they could watch it

That is what Lynn's friends did too!

However Lynn dozed off after the first ten minutes... Lynn didn't really know what was going on, and Marissa Barton's slim-ness was just plain depressing.

Lynn, until that night, had never watched the OC either. Lynn probably will not again - it clashes with one of her forensic/crime shows

It reminds Lynn that she has yet to watch Cold Case which she taped...

Justin watched CSI for a bit, but had to stop for exams and could never really get back into it. Oh well. He is happy to just watch Seinfeld and M*A*S*H on Fox.
