I hate that people treat me so differently when I drive in the car with my L's on. It's not paranoia, people really do treat L and P plate drivers like shit. There'll always be some jerk driving a foot behind me in a 50 zone when I'm already doing over the limit.

On the other hand, when I drive my motorcycle, on which I'm fully licenced, I get none of that shit (though admittedly I probally go a 'little' faster).

When i get my full license, if ever i have to drive my mum or dad anywhere iam going to stick my sisters L's on. why? because theres no law that says i cant, and i dont agree with the displaying special little plates laws anyways...thats my way of eroding their usefulness[especially if it caught on and everyone started doing it]

I also hate cyclists.... not so much on side streets and that but when they go on the main road, ffs you dont need to practice on a main road.

I think they aernt technically allowed to go on the paths either which I think is STUPID... how many cyclists die each year! So we stop them from going on the path cos they might knock down someone (and MAYBE injure them slightly) compared to them going on the road and being hit and more than likely dying. Great logic.

That might have been the original reason, but today it is so other road users can treat you like shit and so the police can target you or intimidate you.

Why would i be driving at speed? i would just drive like normal and then if i crashed or something the media would look like fools for originally saying like "P plater carnage on our roads!" when i hold a full license. If everyone was shamed because they do like to descriminate against young road users then i have accomplished my goals, if they all started wearing various plates as a joke then it would be a great poke in the eye for the police who target road users and the politicians who create legislation making us wear the plates. how do you descriminate when everyone wears a p plate? you cant.

was overtaking some trafic on via left lane of a 3 lane road (it was too empty to resist). went above the speed limit a little so that i could actually pass more than one car before a parked car popped out in front of me. trouble is, by the time i had found a gap- on a bend- a parked car popped out in front of me
and so i had to slam the breaks and slide around within my lane. as i popped back into the middle lane and began moving again some guy (who had witnessed the squealing and shiz) started honking like he was horny whenever i got near him. overtook him then he went behind me and started beeping/flashing his lights, so i was like "wtf? i didnt hit no one...". after slowing down to a near stop he sped past me and continued beeping. my reaction? flew past him as he sounded his horn for the last time

We should not be encouraging cycling on the roads. They completely screw up traffic. We need to build cycling tracks around Sydney and they can go there to rid their bikes.

As long as they go the speed limit (or above), I really don't mind. Hate being stuck behind slow vehicles.

This isnt so much about driving.... but it's about people door jarring me.... you know, when someone next to you swings their doors open and hits your car, scratching the paint...

My car got hit three times by the same white car the other day.. like ffs, even if you dont respect your own property, respect others...

And another thing is learn to park... I was walking outside, and saw this little Mazda2 parked
1. Between two parking spots
2. With half the car sticking out
And then I saw this little old grandma go to the car... and I seriously doubted she had her drivers licence... cos it went like this:
1. Gets in car [seatbelt rarara]
2. Starts up car
3. Turns low beam lights on
4. Hear a series of gear changes, but the car remains stationary
5. Car shuts down
6. Headlights off
7. 5secs later, car starts on again
8. Headlights on normal beam
9. Series of gear changes
10. FINALLY gets out of the parking lot.

I think she got a bit confused.

now now. youre making me sound like a bad guy in general. try making your statement more specialised. dickhead for speeding? no not really, since speeding in this context was to drive at a slightly higher speed limit to overtake cars travelling at below the speed limit. dickhead for the car squealing? no, not really either. i think i handled the situation pretty well considering i was able to stop before i hit the parked car/a moving car (would also indicate exactly how much i was "speeding"). the guy being a dickhead for beeping? maybe not, cos i didnt get a good look at him to see what stereotype i would place him under. guy being a dickhead for going behind me and flashing his lights after i ignored him for a while? hell yeah, especially since he could have made me crash into another car, as i had stopped in the middle of a diverging lane. dickhead for speeding past him? i would rather think he was a dickhead for flashing his lights at me >.>

omg i hate it when ppl drive really slow in the fast lane.... and when ppl go into a turning lane and leave half their ass in the other lane. i have no idea how many times i have almost hit ppl because of that.
