Realistically, Engineers will struggle to even get close to 6 figure wages. Most of them will probably sit at $60000 or so - your friend is an idiot. Where does he get this bullshit from?

It actually ranges ALOT but the lowest I've found is $22,860 and the maximum is $750,000. Most will probably be crammed more around $80000-90000 - I must admit, $60000 was a bit of a low estimate.

$60,000 is normal for graduate engineers. You would need at least 7 years experience in the industry and a senior position to get around $250,000 from what I have seen advertised.

I was joking.
Are you talking about the Ls test? Because that is ridiculously easy. A third of the test is common knowledge.

Oh goodness. From my personal experience not every engineer has this lifestyle. Maybe if their lucky but no. My friends Dad has a Masters in Engineering and he gets okay-ish pay DUE TO EXPERIENCE.

My family friend was one of the top students in UNSW Mechanical Engineering and graduated with a HD average and now works in the bank because he can't find a "proper" job. In my opinion I think he's lazy though, not everything is handed down on a silver plater. He could have gotten a job interstate with pretty good pay for an undergraduate but nooooooooo.... he wants to live in NSW with his parents. What even.

"If you get a 60% in physics, that is equivalent to a 97% in business" Lol what no. Getting 60% in Physics is a shit mark. (But I know a lot of people who had 90+ average in physics so my opinion is biased hence many may disagree). Plus I know a guy and girl who did bad scaling subjects and got into USYD Law. (But they did 4 unit maths though. 4 unit maths with Society and culture. Yup.)
"I might be fat now but once I'm engineer, after my first week pay, I'll get an operation that makes me skinny in 2 days" Lipo is actually a very painful procedure and losing weight that way doesn't do much because if you're fat and have an unhealthy diet you're more inclined to gain weight again. How many times would you want to endure that? Ouch.

But you should post more of what he says. It's pretty entertaining.

This guy needs to get out into the world more often. Sounds like he's been stuck in the basement for too long..
