How many periods per day does your school have?
We have 8 x 40min periods...apparently really short compared with other schools.

ur school is like many school in that
our school is pretty weird in terms of periods, we hav 6 periods everyday but for seniors our sport day is wednesday so we hav 4 periods on wednesday and the last 2 are for sport.
however, the lengths of each period is different on different days, on monday and tuesday, the periods are around 53 minutes wed/thurs around 48 minutes, friday, around 46 minutes

i have 6 periods a day, roughly 52 minutes each but on tuesdays, they are only like 45 minutes.

Seniors have 5 x 75 minutes (with some frees), juniors have 4 x 75 minutes.

We have 6 50minute periods on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
5 50 minute periods Monday.
4 50 minute periods Tuesday.

We have 5 x 60 minute periods for everyday. Its better compared to other schools.....you guys have a different amount of periods and also the length of each period for different days. lol

This doesn't apply to thursday's, b/c of sport.
We only have 3 periods on thursday.

if this was the case for a school that i went to, i seriously hope those 80 minute periods are not boring subjects like IST. I dont know why I chose it b4 haha

we have 7 40 minute periods... but the last 2 are usually combined together in a double

we have a 6 day timetable that cycles throughout the year - as a result, each 3 periods perfectly represents the amount of time required for 1 unit of study

so for 2 unit subjects you have 6 periods a cycle - in total there is provision for 14 units... so if you only do 12 you get 6 frees

we have 5x60/65 minute classes:uhhuh: (depending on the day) and are on a 2 week cycle so 2 unit classes get 7 hrs, 1 unit classes get 4 hours, timetable allows for a student to study 13 units

but wed is sort of different 1,2&3 are 60 mins then 4&5 are 45 due to assembly and for those 2 periods 9-11 have activities (10 pin etc) and Yr 12 have "study"
