I'm from a rank 400-something public school and I did well in the HSC, hardly an exclusivist elitist. I didn't say the 8 schools were representative of the whole of NSW public schools (read my post), but it is, I think, worth some note. Poor educational performance is in no way solely linked to being poor in general, as you seem to be suggesting.
Take your verbose rhetoric elsewhere and construct a reasonable and justified argument that isn't based solely on some old laptops and graffiti.

Viva La Revolution, Emmanuel.
Revolucion you fucking jackass

Also I guess you send your kid to a public school if you don't care about them

If it's the best/only school option available then I don't think so. I'd send my children to the best school I could afford and if that school happened to be a public school in the area, rather than a private school with a bad reputation, I'd send them to the public school.

except that's all hypothetical, back here in reality you won't find a public school with a 'better' reputation than a private school, excluding the obvious outliers

That's true. I will always choose a school based on its rank, reputation and choice that a child wants. The best for them; regardless of sector under which it falls.

I think it will also depend of what country do you have, because some countries even if it's private or public both are really good but some countries didn't support some of public schools :)
