i've worked hard all year, and worked my butt off for trials and did relaly well and am ranking really well in everything...

and now study is very nearly impossible. I'm making myself do it... slowly... but the drive is gone. I have this 'everything will be ok - you've worked hard' work ethic going right now, which probs isn't the best, but i've just lost the drive.

but what a sob story. 5 weeks to go, so i'll make myself study despite the lack of drive - we all need to.

Anyway.
I haven't given up yet, I found myself doing study before the trials like normal exams, but I don't think I have noticed that it is the HSC! I've been doing 4-5 hrs during the hols, and I think I will keep it at around that - anymore and I don't take it in.

It sounds weird but I've put way too much effort in to my studies this year to even think about giving up right before the exams. It would be more of an effort attempting to give up on the HSC than it would be to keep studying for it.

i got 35/45 on paper one, and all i did was write study notes n read over them, ALL IN ONE WEEKEND!
