Hello, I am doing Still I rise by Maya Angelou as a human experience text but when I analyse the poem, I can not find how the author overcomes adversity. Is it alright if you help me?
Thank you <3333

'But still, like dust, I'll rise.' and the title itself already highlight overcoming adversity through dignity + resilience as despite this adversity threatening to subjugate her, she 'rises' above it. she mocks adversity (which based on the context of her writing, she is referring to discrimination and marginalisation as an african-american woman) and affirms throughout the entire poem she will overcome it
