Hey guys

I'm thinking of starting a study group for students living around Sydney

Considering that 'Belonging' is the new AOS I thought it would be a good idea

What do you guys think of the idea?

While this is a good idea with all subjects, be careful not to discuss all your ideas and risk being beaten by others in your study group.

Unless of course, you just dont care (about rankings).
What a stupid post. May I ask what you are on about?

I am interested in your offer as long as the location of the study group is within my grasp. I am doing maths, bio, english, sor and business studies.

you sir are an idiot. I'm happy to discuss all my ideas... even give them my notes if they like. Having a mentality such as yours will not help you in the HSC and in later life. I suggest you get rid of it.

anyone want to be part of a study group with me??

i suck at english, it helps garnering ideas from others
but i can help anyone with maths, bio, chem and ancient

LOL ... another study group.

I'd be happy to do it - BUT I'm pretty sure it'll never work. Numerous attempts have been made to form one and location and time always seem to get the better of it.

lol, yes this discusiion again, there was one of these in the prelim forum b4,

personally, i think it could be better to study by urself for the time being, as it is probably more effective/efficient, and maybe before exams/tests you could have a study group thing but who knows i might be totally wrong. so dont listen to me

Ok we wont :p

Nah seriously, I see it at the library all the time - all these Year 12s in big groups studying - and they keep coming back - so I'm guessing it works for them.

Ok, I will suggest a location here:

Hornsby Library
State Library
Chatswood Library
Epping Library
Strathfield Library?
Anywhere close to Strathfield?
Anywhere in the Northshore basically

It would be good to know which area you guys live in,

then I would be able to set up a location that would be fair for everyone.

Stay away from there.

There's always the uni libraries as well by the way.

This topic is relevant to my interests.
Yes, I'd love to be part of a study group, especially for English Adv. <- This is a killer.
I live in Eastwood/Parramatta (I can choose to stay whichever due to.. Strange circumstances)
I really like Macquarie Uni Library though, closes at 10 and there are group study rooms (UP FOR GRABS, NON RESERVE)
Although I'll be happy to go to a library like Parramatta etc.
I completely support this idea.

i like modern libraries.
