jarrad, as long as you're willing to work hard, scaling is a crock

um for modern and anicient it really depends on whether you are into modern stuff or ancient stuff basiclly. i find ancient to be quite challenging actually, but that may be just me

13 units - if you like your subs and are prepared to work hard is okay

ok...13 units to someone may b piece of cake n if u really find it hard during yr12 u could always droop it....right b4 ur hsc exams (soemone droped 2 days b4 his/her exam). i suggest u choose all u r interested then drop along the way if u dont like

as for modern n ancient...
i'm now in yr 11 doin ancient n i experienced the same problem last yr...
modern is supposed to be harder (my opinion) but i reckon its more dull
both of them require u to memorise tons of info

if u like to learn bout stuff that is more related to u n probably use it one day to kick US's ass then do modern
on the other hand if u want stuff that is more like a story then reality...choose ancient
(note: i think ancient is more of askin whether things happened whilst modern is learnin)
good luck choosing ur subjects ;)

My advice? Do legal, eco and possibly business if you enjoyed commerce. Man is legal awesome? Yes.

i do legal n itz just awesome....
especially with my current teacher...
gets all the info across n most enjoyable of all are those debates that run across the class every minute plus hearing all those gross n strangest crime cases

but let me warn you...it'll b alot of memorising n u must really like the legal system to like this subject

personally i don't like biz studies...i think itz just case studies n if u do eco...the two overlaps so i c no point really

I like Modern History, mainly because its my bludgy subject, but the topics are interesting, JFK assassination, Romanovs, Boxer Rebellion. Its a subjectyou do if you're interested in history.
