yeah it's stupid hodge gets preference, but the selectors should know that desperate times = desperate measures, and huss looked class in the one-day series, is in good nick in the english domestic season and is a specialist opening batsman. it makes perfect sense for him to get the nod.

but i aint holding my breath for it to happen.

i will be surprised if the aussies will change. they will "tough" it out because they "believe in themselves"

Well if they can all swing the ball why dont they? Tait got it to swing a bit and had some sucess but no where near as much as any of the English bowlers.

I agree with you on Hodge, I dont think he's ready and I thought that Hussey was in the squad. He certainly deserves it. I would love to see Hayden regain his form.

Also Tait for a slinger doesnt bowl that quick, I was expecting a lot more. Could have been the feather bed pitch though.

We probably dont deserve to win but as an Aussie I hate losing especially at Cricket The poms have played far better than us and only just managed to beat us so I have hope for the last test. Even if only Gilly and Langer find some form we are a good chance of winning. Brett Lee in the second innings showed some good signs as well.

Maybe the batsmen should take lessons from Gillespie on how to defend.

Ponting might not play now.
Least, Mcgrath is back..
We need like 480+ first innings to have a chance i think.
