Significant in what way? Significant enough to be Harry's girlfriend?

Well, I doubt many people thought that Quirrell was very significant until the end of the first book. Or indeed, Ron's rat Scabbers was a very significant character yet he's now been shown to be a pivotal character in the books.

I think JKR must have introduced her for a reason, as all characters. Thing is, her use, unlike most everyone else's, hasn't been shown yet.

I think that's why I can see JKR making Luna Harry's girlfriend, or something of this sort.

Not that I want to. I'd rather Harry snog Draco, but that's a different story.

Good point.

And I agree. I wouldn't want her to get with Harry. I didn't like her enough.

if you want slash, non smut, and beautiful writing, i recommend rhysenn's "irresistible poison", the one i was talking about before :) when i was reading it, she hadn't finished the last chapter yet and i just sat there tearing my hair out in agony :chainsaw:

 It's not all porn at all! Lol. There's millions of fics out there, a couple of which I've written myself, and not all of it is even remotely close to porn.

One Harry/Draco fic doesn't account for much when there's probably, at the very least, thousands of H/D fics out there. I can recommend you some good ones, if you'd like.

Or perhaps het fics? Like Harry/Hermione or Draco/Ginny or whatnot.

I always knew harry Potter was popular.

JKR better not put out book six around October this year or i'll fail my HSC reading it and not studying.

Order of the pheonix was the second best in the series, beaten only by the prisoner of Azkaban.

In the prisoner of Azkaban Dumbledore says that when a wizard saves another wizards life it creates a certain bond between them.

Voldemort didn't say person, he said wizard. I think it might be a magical bond between Pettigrew and Harry.

ANd if Dumbledore was a bumblebee is would explain many things, such as how he gets around and knows so much of what's going on.

Ooh, you think Dumbledore's an Animagus then? I've heard that theory before, but I never really put much stock into it. I like the idea of all the portraits in his office (as well as his own self on the chocolate frog cards) telling him what's going on and not.

Animagus is an interesting thought, wouldn't put it past Rowling, though it might seem a little expected.

As for a bond between Peter and Harry: I can completely see that. But I think Peter has to die by the end of the series anyway...

I can't wait to find out more about Remus Lupin like she said we would.

He may not be under his own name - it would be slightly silly for him to openly relay the animal he can become and its markings. Perhaps Percival, Wilbur or Brian (his middle names?)

intersting theories lol

though i'd hate to transform into a bee o__O

i agree with how dumbledore wouldn't register under his own name, though :p he's either registered under another name, or he's doing it illegally :p it's most likely that he IS an animagus, though... think about it, as i think someone mentioned before, he IS "considered by many the greatest wizard of modern times" :p

I think Dumbledore is evil.
Yeah, I thought he was too at the end of GoF and after I first read OoP, mainly cos I read it so fast so that no one could tell me what happened (a girl at school told me the day after the book came out that Sirius died- I was very shitty) that quite a few of the scenes with Dumbledore in them seemed quite evil. After reading it a second time slowly, I understood that the loathing that Harry had for Dumbledore around the middle of the book was caused by Voldemort, and Dumbledore was back in my good books.

BUT, there's still a bit that confuses me at the end of GoF- it's while Harry's explaining what happened in the graveyard.

"'He said that my blood would make him stronger than if he'd used someone else's,' Harry told Dumbledore. 'He said that the protection my- my mother left in me- he''d have it, too. And he was right- he could touch me without hurting himself, he touched my face.'
For a fleeting instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore's eyes. But next second, Harry was sure he had imagined it, for when Dumbledore had returned to his seat behind the desk, he looked as old and weary as Harry had ever seen him"

What's THAT about? Why would Dumbledore look triumphant?
