smithy boy. hes only 24. but sometimes, he makes stupid decisions. 290 is my current bet, but if they go all out its like 310-320. bloody hell chips. lets hope we can do it kallis less.

as for nicknames, i didnt mind afghanistan, and what are the exact origins of 'pigeon'? (is it in referall to his batting)

but in all sports, matty hilder takes the cake. up the sharkies!

1/16 after 3.2

(smith lbw Vaas for 3)

gee smithy boy.

i think they must get to 120 by 20 overs, then go through the next 20 at 4 an over while finshing up the last 10 overs at 8 an over. wickets.....

Well Sehwag got out in the most foolish of ways, so most records still stand and the match is virtually over.

The curse of the visiting captain.

Win the toss on a belter of a track and field.

If Smitty fails again in Melbourne, he should bat around No.4. He had reasonable success against England there after Hoggard nailed him time after time. Anyway, I think Gibbs should always open - he's aggressive, likes it when the ball is hard and coming on to the bat and doesn't mind going over the infield - Smith is more of a deflector and accumulator on the on side. Also, I think he gets pretty impatient and making him wait to bat often gets him frustrated...not to mention Rudolph's/Kallis' appalling calls.

Gibbs
Dippenaar
Kallis
Smith
etc etc

well, that was highly homosexual. bloody smith, why oh why.

Well done to the Bouchmeister, he's gonna push for player of the series.

Fuck this, Let's bring back Klusener!

@ fast heinz - Smith should always be an opening batsman. You could swap Dippenaar and Gibbs though

shite, lankans back in this. they probably rely too heavily on sangakkara and murali to be consistent enough to win the tournie.

dale steyn might play on friday. he looked pretty shite against england when i saw him play, but maybe he's improved a bit.

mmhm, lets fuckin hope so.

although, i dont see the point of spinners. theyre not really hard to play at my level, i seem to get like 20 runs off every spinner over. spinners are so fuckin useless.

Bad news.

Kallis likely out for rest of VB series and possibly the Australian tour (well, the one day side of it).
