I've heard that 253 and macro are pretty hard...250 is filled with fobs who may push me into a slightly better grade...and 141 is like stat170. Does anyone else know a bit more about all this?
Im still deciding whether to do BUSL250...I ultimately want to do an AppFin/LLB degree but I may be restricted to BCom/LLB so im not sure if iit's worthwhile...

stat270 isnt too hard. although beware of being too confident of your final mark. i thought i almost nailed the paper and got an avg credit.orangeguy said:
econ141, do it. a slight jump from stat170. but again not overly difficult. same with acst201. very doable.
infact those 3 subject were my electives last semester. they are very much D'able.

It was open book exam last semester, plus we've been very clearly told which chapters will be examined and even better, sample questions and answers during the last lecture.
I haven't attended more than 5 lectures ( wk 2,9,10,11,12 are necessary) and that's it! Read the 4-5 chapters that will be in, read the sample questions and answers and you're DONE!

Stat170's easier than dem127 i reckon. Haven't done dem127, but i dl the stuffs off e-reserve when I was considering it. I've attached it, it seems to be a very annoying subject, have a look. :S Do a search, somebody said it was easy though...Redrum said he'll be doing it sem 1 !!
I've already deleted my stat170 stuffs, as far as i remember it was easy!

whoa.. i didnt even understand the DEM127 PDF.. all i saw were the words calculate the death rate.. calculate the crude death of Koreans.. like wtf? lol
well.. i've done my timetable by hand on random paper.. now i look at the timetable paper they gave us.. and first semester only has 4 boxes to fill whereas i need 5 =.= dodgy
