Hi - I'm James, Year 9 NSW student - and my IQ is 125.

I am a much stronger "literal thinker" than a "mathematical thinker".
But, yet - I am in the top English AND Maths class ...and I hate Maths...life is not fair! lol

Lol. I'm very sure that James has a very healthy social life. My IQ is 1 below his and I wouldn't live without sport or movies with friends... Its the best thing.

I concentrate on my studies when I need to.... and do small amounts of study throughout the year... Don't go making assumptions Rhanoct

blehh the only time i ever did one (when i was 10) i think i hit about the 130-140 mark. i highly doubt it was accurate though.

I got 130 on the International High IQ Society one, which apparently allows me to join their society...screw that.

The guy who said online IQ tests are bullshit is right, with the exception of a few of them. Most of them are more like a collection of random riddles, rather than actually having varying difficulties and testing your brainpower.

http://www.iqtest.dk/main.swf is an example of a pretty good test. It's based upon Raven's progressive matrices, so is culture fair too, and is based on the answers of 250 000 people.

Also, after actually sending this test to a few people, the answers seem to be more accurate. People I know who get 80s UAIs seemed to get between 110 and 120, which makes sense coz those 2 values cut off about 75% of the pop (110) and 91% of the pop (120).

Of course, it won't compare to a test by a professional psychologist, but it's probably the best you'll find online.

BTW it's capped at 145 I think.

Sure, how smart you are does have a huge impact on your life. Your work status, social life.... etc. It can play one of the major roles in your life.

Referring to the 75 IQ answer... that is extremely bordering the 'dumbed-down' category... those who have extreme trouble to concentrate and have lots of trouble reading or understanding things....

I would never get my wife to have an abortion with a child with Down Syndrome, every life is precious... although to live an entire life in pain and misunderstanding would be the most difficult thing..... I am sure i would make sure I would give the child the best possible chance to a decent life .
