I love this thread.

In light of neither side being able to present a convincing argument as to which is the more ethical profession, everybody must now become doctor-lawyer hybrids.

I wasn't here to make a case for the ethical superiority of either side. I would've played devil's advocate against anyone who stood to the extreme for docs or lawyers.

Mel I've just spent 8 hours of every day of the last 3 years studying maths and frankly I haven't got a chance at UMAT because I fear contact with other homo sapiens sapiens more than I fear getting a UAI in the magnitude of 10¹

Now this is problematic because I face imminent disownership by my entire extended family and clan, including my dead ancestors, if I should fail to uphold the eternal family tradition of entering into a medical degree (that goes back 1 generation to when my parents came to Australia to escape communism)

in any case as a fellow identically challenged asian, what would you recommend me do?

Well, men are obviously superior to women.

Men make better doctors because it is hareem for a woman to touch a man.

Men make better lawyers because they can be taken seriously and can be trusted.

Don't forget that the testament of a man is worth that of 2 women

I tried out for medicine (got an interview) and the interviewers said I was a "psychopath" and "potentially dangerous" and gave me a referral to a psychiatrist who specialised in antisocial personality disorder.
