I went to a public highschool but then then moved to a boys only private school. In my experience, the environment and students of the public school that i went to was/is far superior than the private school i am currently going to.

at the end of the day it does come down to the school

strictly high school speakin, i went to 3 public schools (got expelled from 2 of them, in years 8 and 9, and left the 3rd in year 10 because it was a shit hole) and i went to a private school in my final 2 years of school

the education is not the same from my experience
the 3 public schools all had teachers who could not give a fuck about wat the kids learnt
the teachers were also all cunts, fuck them cunts

in the private school all the kids were better behaved and shit (in general, from years 7-12, not just from my classes)
and the teaching was 100 times better

in the end though, it depends on wat school it is, but generally speakin, private > public

at the end of the day, depends on the individual, if they want to study they'll excel even in the shittest of public schools, if not those that go to the best of private schools will turn out as idiots and dropouts, works both ways.

More for lower rank public schools, but still

I go to a senior high school :p
Good learning environment; people are nice but academic wise not as good as most other fully selective high schools.

Can't say much about private schools except what has been stated before

In my own personal opinion.....

I went to a private school when I was younger. There were some very snobbish people. Besides that fact I guess it did discipline me (since private schools are extremely stingy with their uniforms etc, you know what i mean). Also, I was taught valuable morals. Although I am not Christian, their teachings have allowed me to gain a better understanding of the world and has somewhat made me the kind of optimistic person along the way.

That was primary school. In high school, I do believe it is a waste of money. You are paying 20000x the amount of money for the same education. Expensive uniform. Compulsory religious studies throughout those 6 years. It's pretty unnecessary.
hmm, not really in private high school (however i go to one which pays $5500 per year, wtf...and it ranks only 360), but school is all about showing off stuff like their facilities (which is pretty good i must admit), and musical talent, christian charities etc. and not the main thing EDUCATION.. oh well, i rather go to a public, and i don't really have respect for my school.

Also a person on this thread says that the government shouldn't be investing money into priv school, and i believe this is wrong since not everyone is not rich wiping their ass with $100 bills. For instance, my parents earn a combined income less than $100 000, which isn't bad per year, so we aren't all rich, however numerous of my friends own million dollar mansions etc. lol. your opinion though

when we talk about private and public, the first thing that will come up in our minds is they differs in "money" . Thanks for all your opinions guys! Actually I'm working in a company that offers Custom Essay Writing Service and I need this for my task. I'm about to make an essay about public and private school:)

It's not just showing off? Some people want to pursue music or art or fencing or whatever in their spare time and by going to a private school it makes it easier to have access to those kinds of facilities -> some people want to be all-rounders and generally its easier to do so if you go to a school with a lot of available facilities, sporting competitions, opportunities to do that kind of thing.

Anyway, I don't think you can judge people on what school they go to. I went to a public school for a year when I was really young and got bullied there by a couple of people, but there were still others who were nice. I went to a private school a few years later and got verbally abused by a couple of people there, but nevertheless met other amazing people.

I go to a private school now and there are shit people and there are great people. I can honestly say that the two bitchiest, worst people I have ever met in my life come here, but went to public schools in primary. Even so, the two best, most amazing people I've ever met also came here from public schools. There will be all kinds of people wherever you go.

i actually don't see what was wrong with that comment
shes talking about the relationship of bulling to public and private - both have them, its not a factor to be speaking about.

---

there's nothing really wrong with the current school types, always public school people complaining about private schools

This is a joke. All schools should be public and the syllabus carefully monitored.

Okay sooo I went to a public primary school and now I go to a private high school and fuck private no offense all they want it the money our fregin school has air con in every room and when you ask the principal to put some in the hall she's like it's too expensive helllooooooo were paying you like 4 grand each yeah sooo what are using it on ffs !
Hahaha and all they fregin care about is our uniform -.- like instead of giving us a good education you care about our uniform wtf, the teachers are shut to one lesson in bio my teachers like sorry your principal wouldn't give me' the day off and I'm sick and don't feel like teaching and seriously I was like were in yr 12 and have our hsc and you "don't feel like teaching" us hahaha
I hate private schools, public is better at least you get treated with some reprseny and teachers actually care about your education:)

but that's what she said, both systems have them and therefore its not a factor to differentiate them.

also chahoud has no idea what they're talking about
