I think it has to do with the fact that a lot of times you will have 0! on the denominator and if it wasnt equal to one, then there's serious porblems. This occurs in nCr especially. Basically, there is only 1 way to chose 0 objects Here's a much better explanation...

Keep doing past papers if you understand all aspects of teh course, thats the best revision there is. But if theres any areas where your weak on, thats when you get out the textbook and do the exercises to increase your understanding.
