nah i think u have a chance, cos the uni applications have gone down 6.5% over the past 2 years, so there is a chance the uai will go down!

yeah watching short films helps....tropfest people have put out a dvd of all the finalists for 10 years or something, its called 'gone troppo' and its around $30, its really good to get, as it shows you what you can realistically achieve in a 6 - 8 minute film yeah thats another good...

yeah i stopped working mid way through yr 12 to fit in 'study', however not working didn't really make me study more..it just created time for me to lounge about...so yeah its up to u..if u feel comfortable working a lot and adapting study patterns, then go for it!

ring up industrial relations and speak to them about it, they should give u some advice (if they're open) and my other advice is to start low with ur complaint, dont go straight to the boss, speak to ur manager first, then take the complaint to a higher 'level'.. hope it goes well!

its not based solely on a UAI, its an interview + essay, and audition if ur doing theatre/media...so there is no mark for it..
