lol. My thoughts exactly. I'm just thanking my lucky stars that I had a good teacher, so I'm not in the same boat as everyone (most people) else. Wooh!

How can the truth be represented

Hah. That is my trial question, and it was sadly my worst english question. I focused almost entirely in 'why truth is dependant...' so I guess that is where I went wrong.

Hahah. This is quite humorous. Everyone is after notes, but it seems no-one has any, or at least they are not willing to give them away

    infrared spectroscopy

That's what I assumed, although it does worry me that there were specific question asked on ES and STM in 2002 HSC paper. Does anyone know for sure that that part of the syllabus was changed?

    WHat is in limestone?

I could be wrong, but I'm quite sure for acid rain questions they will specifically ask you to refer to oxides of sulfur and nitrogen, and how they form acid rain. I cannot see the need for knowing anything about carbonic acid in reference to acid rain.

    WHat is in limestone?

Limestone is calcium carbonate CaCO3. The other formula you have their appears to be calcium hydrogencarbonate. Not sure if it has a common name. Why do you want to know how it reacts with carbonic acid?

    Finding Valence

No pattern that I know of. You just have to know these

    Finding Valence

You just have to know how many electrons are in the out shell, so you would have to already know that for the transition metals. It's a crap way to do it though. Just memorise.

    Finding Valence

The only way I know how is to draw the Lewis dot diagrams, therefore it is much easier to just remember them

    titration problem

    Yeah, I'm quite sure you would discard the 20.4mL result leaving you with an average titre of... lets say 18.1mL Ba(OH)2 + 2HNO3 ---> Ba(NO3)2 + 2H2O moles = molarity * mls/1000 moles (BaOH2) = 0.12 * 25/1000 = 0.003 moles of BaOH2 moles (HNO3) = 2* moles (BaOH2)...

    Essay questions [and] Greece

It is a bitch of a question though, because there is sooo much you could write about. A bit of an exaggeration but the contribution of the emperors is virtually the entire Julio-Claudian topic

    Alkali Metals

Simply put, what are they? I'm assuming it simply means the metallic oxides that act as bases, but is this correct?

    Eutrophication

From Collins English Dictionary: Eutrophication: a process by which pollution from such sources as sewage effluent or leachate from fertilised fields causes a lake to become overrich in organic and mineral nutrients, so that algae and cyanobacteria grow rapidly and deplete the oxygen supply...

    Questions!

Yeah, it is without a doubt the worst of the core topics. Although I would take it over forensics any day. God I hate forensics!
