Compared to Advanced English, Ext 1 is definately more enjoyable. However the workload seems very similar imo. Therefore ext1 english worth only 1 unit is not worth advanced english which is worth 2 units, in terms of workload. My opinionnn anyway.

Well you get a 0, but that hardly matters. I think as long as you hand in the assignment eventually, then you'll be okay lol.

Other way around i believe. The greater the molecular weight = more protons = more electrons = greater temporary dipoles. The molecular weight itself doesn't determine anything.

Hey guys. I've got an english extention assignments due on friday. Its a 2000 word essay on utopia and arcardia and other random crap. The point is, i'm dropping engx next year and really don't give a shit about the subject. What will happen if i just don't do it?

Band 6 is based upon scaled 90+ marks, aren't they? So if your mark is band 6; its been scaled there.

The amount of units you can do varies from school to school. At my school the max is 14 for prelim and 12 for hsc. Exceptions apply.

one possible way: Putting the tape between 2 tables. Then using a string ( or something else) put pressure on the tape by applying more and more weights until the tape snaps/ faulters. just an idea.

I'm sure they'll let you. At my school, theres a yr 7 kid doing the prelim ext 1 math course.

Preliminary 3u is similar in difficulty to 2u imo. Just more content? (in my eyes anyway). If you can do year 11 and year 12 2unit stuff already i don't see why you even need to consider if you should do 3u or not.
