How do i know commerce is full?

Because students can pick whatever courses they want - you don't know if Commerce is full because the people taking first year accounting can be Commerce students in first year, or second years, or third years, or people wanting to take a general education course.

    How do you handle breaks?

Oh you'll see how many people actually sleep in the library. I assume they're Arts students and would proceed to bag them out right now but... can't. *looks at sig*

    Exam Timetable

At UNSW? I dunno if that's the case, because I thought exam timetabling was done later on and finalised later in Semester - so writing when it'd be in a publication made even before the semester begins would be... impossible.

    Exam Timetable

Syllabus? No. Exam timetables are released in like Week 9 or 10 of Semester. Uni advice is the same - they allocate two or so weeks for exams, and they expect students to work around that. You know the dates which exams may be held - you'll have to not book anything at all during that time...

    How do you handle breaks?

Walk around. Study. Lounge about on the Quad Lawn like a good Arts student.

    The Tennis Thread

Re: The Official Tennis Thread Girls play three-set max matches so it's the first person to win two sets. Guys play five-set max matches so it's the first person to win three sets. Is that the answer you're looking for...?

Doing scif courses in semester 1??

You mean the one-off-lecture? That's just a general intro, and it happens once only in Week 1. So there'll be a clash only in Week 1.

    Course Selection for Science/Education (sec)

Yeah. So you have to look at when subjects are offered, and plan ahead somewhat. And Stage 1 courses you have to complete before you can start Stage 2 courses - depending on prerequisites for what Stage 2 courses you want. So for instance, to do FINS2624, you must have done the first year...

Course selection for Actuarial & AdvMath Dual Degree ? Suggestions?

No units left over means no other courses, unfortunately. Unless 'free electives' form part of the 96 uoc for Actuarial or 144 uoc for Maths.

A few more questions about subject choices *URGENT*

Why don't you switch preferences now and hope that you get into Arts at UNSW/Sydney in the Late Round - and then transfer to Commerce after a year's time. If not, I guess you'll have to keep your original offer and then get really good marks and external transfer, which is more of a hassle.
