I don't think $399 is very cheap at all, it's too expensive for a pure games machine (with net hacks on the side). Of course, that's just my cheapass opinion ;)

Hmm well I installed FFDshow but still no good. On the other hand I got VLC player and it runs on that so problem half solved.

I've just downloaded a file off BT and when I run it, I see visuals but don't get sound. Windows Media Player says it's searching for codec but of course, the lousy thing can't find it. I have DivX. Is there anyway to find out what codec I need or can you suggest any I should get?
