I simply use Firefox for the tabbed browsing and the minimise to taskbar plugins. A handy side effect is that Firefox won't let malicious websites install shitty toolbars onto your browser whereas IE generally lets them get through.

Ok I've got the vertical region functional on the practice window however when I tried to scroll here or any other website on Firefox, my cursor turns into this icon: and the page won't scroll. What does it mean and how can I fix it?

Well they came preinstalled so I assume that's a yes. The touchpad itself works, just the scroll mouse 'buttons' (if you can call it that) don't seem to be doing anything.

Can anyone tell me how to use the scoll on this type of touchpad? I've tried dragging my thumb down the grooves, taping the grooves once then dragging but no joy. It's a HP Pavilion laptop touchpad btw.
