except some of the batters can bowl, and the bowlers really suck at battin, except on really good days
Umm... are you sure that isn't the other way around. Bowlers being able to bat, and batters not being able to bowl.

But if you split the batters and bowlers up from the Aus team and made them face each other, I'd find it much more entertaining with the likes of McGrath, Gillespie, Kasper and Warne slugging it out against Langer, Hayden, Ponting, Marto, Lehmann and Clarke... it'd be the truest form of having the best play the best.
They do this when they train in the nets.

So they'd know each other inside out meaning it'd be a great match up.

yeah, that would b great to watch! Quite amusin to if Aus A was to win
m8, thats exactly why they dont do it, instead of the current tri series they used 2 play a series wit 2 tourin teams, aus, and aus A but after aus A made the final and aus played shit and didnt, the selectors just said that they didnt want aus 2 ever play aus A, but i think the fans deserve it bak, pakis are shit, so are the windies, bring on the aussies!!

Angelduck is right, England have a much better chance on the ashes tour than the Windies have in the VB series. Have you seen the touring squad? Apart from Lara and Chanderpaul, the squad is largely inexperienced with plenty of <23yo's.
They have some promising stars like X Marshall and C Gaile but their bowlers are sadly going to be mince-meat for the likes of the Aussie top order. C Evans isn't even touring - their fastest bowler.

The poms have strung some wins together and their players - (Vaughan, Flintoff, Stauss, Harmison etc) have seemed to hit their prime.

No.

They are clearly going very well in one day matches.

Windies are a great one day outfit, but its all depends on there batting. The likes of Gayle and Lara, are two of the best one day batters in the world. Though the Windies really needa bat well to win as there bowlers are terrible.

On England it will be a good Ashes Series and one you would hope Australia dont take too Lightly.

Strauss , Flintoff , Jones , Harmison are all new revelations (some of them have been there a while, but have only blossomed recently). And that guys with the existing guys like Butcher , Trescothick, Vaughan , Thorpe who are still doing the job.

in other words Aus should not get too cocky.

The whole, "Australia are so good we could field two teams that'd dominate world cricket" thing was pretty much proved wrong when India came down last year. Without McGrath and Warne we're brought very close to the chasing pack, and once they go we could see a lot of very competitive test cricket here again.

the row team has no english or south african test players cuz they are playing right now;
aussies: gilly, hayden, ponting, mcgrath, warne making a comeback
kiwis: fleming, cairns, vettori
windies: lara, gayle, bravo
poms: gough
coached and managed by steve waugh

the windies management might not let their 3 players play though due to a match against aus a the next day(or something like that). if thats the case, it would be the most retarded decision ever made and the management should be sacked, hung, drawn and quatered.

they are picking the asian XI today or tomorrow
