maths as a hsc subject = probably one of the worst along with english.

maths as in pure maths = awesome

I lean more towards Applied Mathematics myself. I never really got into the pure stuff.

I like maths, but I also like English. I used to lathe maths, but some of it is pretty fun. Probably because it's a challenge to me and I succeed. English I basically make up anything and think its shitty with little ffort and I sitll get praised and get good marks. So it's not a challenge anymore. I keep thinking my English is in danger and is shitty but then I go and surprise myself.

The thread asks whether you like maths or not. My answer is no.
And i never said i didn't appreciate maths- we wouldn't be living in houses without it. I just don't like learning it. Things are also a lot worse when you have so many teachers teaching it who can barely speak English.
