Justin greets Marcus. He then explains to Lynn that he doesn't like the falling bit, but rather the sensation just after he wakes up.

Marcus finds that falling in a dream is quite exhilarating; and he is glad that he always wakes up before he hits rock bottom. Marcus wonders if anyone has woken up just after dreaming, and have had the powerful emotional essence of that dream dominate their day?

Lynn can't quite understand how anyone could enjoy that, but then again, if Justin is somewhat of an adrenaline junkie, she could see how that works. Lynn wonders if Justin likes rollercoasters, as she is terrified of them. Except for the cute Baby ones

YES!

Particularly if it was a very vivid dream, it will definately stay in Lynn's head for some time.

Lynn often finds herself searching for the people she has met in her dreams (regardless of historical era or location), although she has never found any of them yet. She cannot really remember their faces but has the idea that if she ever finds any of them, she will know instantly.

Lynn also likes being alive. Lynn would NEVER go on Space Probe. Not even if she was bribed for a million dollars. At least she thinks so. Lynn hasn't been bribed yet.

Alan HATES the falling dream, though, he would explain it more of a 'being sucked in' dream. He is absolutely terrified. He wakes up with tears and is sweating...It scares him like nothing he van explain....

He notes that he cracks a lot of stupid jokes when he is scared. "I can see my house from here" and such.

Lynn has rarely (if ever) woken up in tears but has often woken up in a cold sweat, particularly after she has "fallen out" of her dream. Lynn is not very fond of the feeling at all and would really rather stay IN the dream.

Justin wonders if Lynn has ever done so in a scary (or at least suspenseful) movie. Justin and his friend Damian were doing so in Signs. They were terrified during the opening credits, and Justin's other friend, Michael, grabbing his leg and making him jump at least a foot into the air when an alien tried to grab whatshisface's hand under the pantry door.

Lynn has no particularly strong feelings for her Chinese (Malaysian really) heritage, and feels no ties towards it at all. She is not particularly asian in everything but appearance. Lynn tries her best to avoid being closed-minded, as many asians are, Lynn has a very weak academic side even though she comes from a highly academic background (father has Masters in Mathematics, both parents were Dux), and to put it bluntly, Lynn is not very proud of her heritage. Lynn's EE2 teacher suggested that she read ... argh, Lynn has forgotten name of book but is is about 3 asian girls who were not proud of asian heritage.

When Lynn can, Lynn will try and crack a lame joke (even if by herself) to make the atmosphere a little less frightening.

Lynn's system works like this:

Scare factor 1: Laugh for no reason and try to look at techniques rather than actually watching movie

Scare factor 2: Call for a dog and hug them tight.

Scare factor 3: Start talking to dog with one eye on movie.

Scare factor 4: Turn on lights

Scare factor 5: Hug dog tightly and only listen to movie

Scare factor 6: RUN AWAY FROM TV!!!
