Accepted fact by some hyped up moon-worshippers and a bunch of hypocrites from the SA.

"END THE OCCUPATION OF GAZA" saw people saying that today. Don't they get the news?
Yeah, because anyone who isn't totally for Israel is a 'moon-worshipper(s)'. Go live there already. It's so great. Don't waste your time. Israel is waiting for you.

I know man. I mean, by any measure Gaza is completely independant of Israel now isn't it? Fuck you. If someone drops a stone in Gaza the IDF knows about it. The IDF controls their airspace, borders, food, aid, water, power and every damn thing else. Stop being a dickwad, think before you rag on the SA patriots.

I'm going to tell them you said they were patriotic. You'll be excommunicated.

Yes Hamas is enormously responsible, but Israel is more responsible. This is accepted fact. Go home, ponce.

What? How can you claim that Israel doesn't have any responsibility in this?

The blockades were put in place to stop rockets but the lack of concern from Israel about how the blockades on medicine, food and other necessities is affecting the civilians of Gaza is fucking disgusting. They even had the nerve to claim that "there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza". There are 1.5 million human beings in Gaza and they think that a blanket blockade is the best thing to do? And then they wonder how crazy fundies like Hamas get recruits? From what I can tell from the conditions of the proposed two state solution in 2000 @ Camp David Israel wants to make Palestine a subservant neighbor, not one with any real power as a country.

A Palestinian state would be established in most of the West Bank and all of the Gaza strip, with these conditions:

  • [*]The state would not have an army with heavy weapons,
[*]The state would not make alliances with other countries without Israeli approval and would not allow introduction of foreign forces west of the River Jordan.
[*]Israel would be allowed deploy troops in the Jordan Valley if Israel were to be threatened by invasion from the east.
[*]Israeli aircraft could overfly Palestinian airspace.
[*]Israeli would install early warning stations in the mountains overlooking the Jordan valley and other areas.
[*]Palestinians would control border crossings with Jordan and Egypt along with Israeli security observation.
[*]The Israelis would retain management over water sources in the West Bank while approving a limited quota to the Palestinians.
[*]Israel would lease areas in the Jordan Valley or maintain temporary sovereignty over them for up to 25 years.
From: Camp David Proposals for Final Palestine-Israel Peace Settlement

The events in Gaza show (imo) that the peace and security that Israel wants isn't a "everyone's happy now", they want one where they've beaten everyone down so badly that they are too scared to fight.

Wouldn't surprise me. This eh, "war", has shown that Israel isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Oh hey Fatah.
Fatah are an inept run of the mill corrupt arab regime.

There corruption and uselessness is what led to the Palestinians voting in Hamas...

But the west being hypocrites did not give Palestine enough respect to accept there democratic decision (same as in Algeria) & instead of bring Hamas in from the cold did whatever it could to attack them & punish Palestinians.

The reason they support Hamas is not because Hamas has some grand plan to end occupation but because everyone else has not been able to provide them and when situation becomes chaotic, often people turn to those promise strong action, same is the case with Israel as well - a left or centrist politician stands no chance in Israel - only ones who come into power are ones with strong militant groups or army background.

Oh hey Fatah.
Fuck yeah man, because they've been such a positive force in this whole conflict and have done lots of Palestinian autonomy in Gaza.

Fuck you. No matter who is elected in Gaza, the Israelis will still treat them like dogs. Only Mahmoud Ahmadinejad can save them now.

There's a difference between acceptance and endorsement. International aid is not a right.
