they're pretty mediocre, though they got a $2mill grant from the fed. government which they are bragging about constantly.. though any improvements/changes are only gonna come after we leave :(

I know how you feel..

Our school is turning into a semi-selective school next year and the majorty of money is being contributed towards making them feel at home... (As the principal stated in an eduringly long assembly o_O)

Ours are decent. A lot of old buildings - heritage listed, so it isn't 'new' as such - but yeah, I'm a sucker for heritage. 8-9.

We have air conditioning in every room except for the science rooms. Smartboards/ Computer projectors in almost every room and laptops in the majority of classrooms. I would say we have good resources. But the science practical equipment are pretty crap.

Same. Except we got $1.7 million. Ours also brag about how we are going to get new science labs.

9-10 :)

It's smack bang in the middle of the shopping precinct, a block from the train station and bus terminus. Plethora of lunchtime choices. All rooms have air conditioning.
The lab is a bit on the dodgy side, and we can only borrow the school laptops to get internet access, i.e, no fixed computers.

Oh, and it's a bit of a microcosm. I do emphasise on the micro. :p
And, being in such a public place, we can't be seen doing anything out of line, the public would just call in and complain.

I'd say 9. We got airconditioning in 40-50% of rooms, fans otherwise, projectors in all rooms except maths rooms, nice tables and chairs, carpet in every room, Smartboards in every English room, a large playing field, basketball courts, netball courts that can be converted to hardcourt tennis courts, a farm, large library, easily accessible toilets, senior study with aircon, senior study in the library, a fairly new canteen, lecture theatre, a huge auditorium, awesome front office etc. The front office is so cool, especially the conference room upstairs from it. It has a fireplace and large wooden and leather chairs. The science resources are really good as well, my friend from Grammar only has marginally better stuff. We're a public school =D. I don't pay for anything I just mentioned. And we're getting a gymnasium soon.

the two old buildings look really nice though. the newest one is the ugliest.

i'd give my school a 9; a rowing shed, large gym, tennis courts, nice location, next to large playing fields. however we do lack a lot of newer equipment throughout the school.

We're getting a smartboard in every two rooms and there's like wireless modems installed on the ceiling in everyroom to. We don't have a grass area and some computer rooms are shit. But then since we're from the inner-west what else can we ask for? lol.

They're using the government grant atm building a lecture theatre, more shelters and more bins lol. Slowly changing from blackboards to whiteboards too.

7!

That was below the belt. We're trying hard to get Hurlstone to keep their Ag facilities by intimidating the government using our Ruse power.
