Stop stressing, the hsc really isn't as difficult as you think it is. Consistent study is great but not at the expense of all of your free time. Balance between a good study regime and chill out./relaxation/going out time is the key, too extreme in either direction and you'll blow your head off with stress. Sure you could have studied every day these holidays, but you would probably be a burnt out wreck by now...

I've been thinking about how much work I could have gotten done for the entire length of the holidays. It's really depressing.

However, like someone else has correctly pointed out, there is no point pining over time you can't take back. So, like everyone else, this last week is now officially named 'Cram Week' :)

I did complex numbers in school, graphs in the holidays and have almost finished integration.
My schools only half way between graphs.

yeah it is kinda depressing thinking about how far ahead of everyone else we could have been by now... but id much rather feel like i've given myself a well deserved break (with SOME amount of study) and feel rejuvenated for the upcoming year :)

I've got to start reading my crappy English novel. Totally unmotivated, and this hot weather just gives me an excuse to relax.

as Ive been told by numerous people who have already dont their HSC, use these holidays as a time to have a break and relax as the next eight to nine months or so will be pretty intense..
Yeah, but you probably did all the work that was set, but not extra stuff.
I did fuckin' NOTHING!
I'm sooo stressed.

General Maths.
Ok im going to be serious.

I did ok in general - 94 in the exam, and I was ranked 15th/66 in my school - I got a HSC mark of 93

My mate TOPPED standard english 1/60 something - got a HSC mark of 75, which RUINED his entire ATAR (he was looking at 90's), and ended up only getting 85.55

Be warned!

A statement without anything to support it? Typical.
By your logic, if the top student in Chemistry achieved 96 and the top student in Physics only scored 78, I could conclude that Physics will "ruin" one's ATAR.
