Pakistan were in such a dominant position with Kamran Akmal smashing it everywhere, then they choked, yet again.

SRT scores 200 not out against RSA last night. Fitting prize for someone who has done as much as he has done in the shorter form of the game over the past twenty years.

+1

Tendulkar is one of the greats of the game and certainly deserves to have achieved this

Legend.
I hope I get to see him score a triple century in tests one day.
Proud to say I saw him score the 248* at the SCG but wish I was at stadium yesterday. Steyn could only shrug in reply.

Amazing innings by Tendulkar. Good to see him last so long at his age. He was tired near the end as indicated by him not running the single off the second last ball of the Indian innings.

Lol Afridi, shortest captaincy ever? They'll probably make Butt captain soon, he'll crack under the pressure of the job and their most promising young batsman will be finished as well.

Re: The Official Cricket Thread

First time in my life that NZ has beaten Australia in a test match!

India are going to annihilate us.

Gotta feel for Vettori, will probably finish his career without a Test win against Australia. Im surprised Bracewell didnt win Man of the Match, his spell of 9 overs this morning yielded 6 wickets and turned the match completely as Australia were coasting at 2/159

Re: The Official Cricket Thread

Was so tense to watch and when Lyon came out at 9/199 I didn't think he'd last long.

He surprised me and did quite well. Disappointing we didn't win, yes, but I enjoyed watching it.
