Re: Mcdonalds...sydney Region

AHahahaha lolololol we DID have one of those.

There was like...5 or 6 stores from about Ryde area, all learning from Shami about like how not to steal food, and not waste product.

There was a photo of someone stealing a nugget.
And then a single nugget on the floor.
"DO NOT STEAL"
"DO NOT WASTE"

Fuck maccas. I love you.

McDonalds Interview

Strange. I got a McDonalds interview but I'm about to turn 18 in less than a month. If I am employed, would they even give me shifts?

Re: McDonalds Interview

yeah they will...but shitty ones...i used to work there...if they ask you why u want the job dont say for the money (even if u do only want the job for the money) say for the experience... and if ur availabilities are good they should give u like a few opens or maybe mids (9-5) yeah i worked there for 2 years and a week... then i got fired for giving away freebies... (hint: dont give away free food)

Well what do you expect? To them.. thats like giving money away. I work there... and if your 18 I'm guessing your not at High School meaning you can work longer shifts... They will love that. The only time you'd be a tad bit screwed for shifts would be school holidays but you wouldn't want to work then anyways :)

Yeah, but you might not get as many holidays shifts because there's others that are cheaper.
But, if you're flexible with your availability, then you may very well.

Re: McDonalds Interview

Because your not at school you should get heaps of day shifts or at least heaps once you get abit of experience there. All the day shifts at my maccas, well used to work there, are done by 18+ people or people who left school so you should be sweet for hours.

Re: McDonalds Interview

you will get day shifts. because there aren't many 15 year olds who drop out of school and work during the day at macas. unless they are complete shitheads. but yeah during weekends and holidays.. and at night you won't get shifts because cheaper labour will be available.

Re: McDonalds Interview

So, I did have the interview - and I thought it went well. (I basically got the impression I did get the job - and he took the copy of my Birth Certificate) But the guy said I'd get a reply within 48 hours and I still don't have anything. (Interview was friday). I would expect even if I was rejected I would know by now, he did say he was leaving and he'd pass on my details but maybe he forgot/the person he handed it onto forgot..

Should I call them?
