Seriously? My school seems so much harsher. The coordinator said that we had to be "on our death bed" to miss an exam, and still, we had to call the school in the morning before the exam. Doesn't matter if you have a doctors cert. you still have to go to school and do the test as well as you possibly can. If you miss the exam- automatic zero, no questions asked.

Gah, I have four more exams to go. One every day of the week starting tomorrow. Good thing it's only prelims.

There's this guy at school who seems to be perpetually sick and blowing his nose.

Anyhow, during my HSC Trial, he went into the exam room, was audibly sick in the one hour he was there, and then just walked out

I don't know what happened to his mark however

Did you memorise essays/prepared material before-hand?

If yes, mind-blanking usually indicates that you probably needed more time for memorising OR alternatively, you didn't have a great day could be another case.

I suddenly realised last night after failing at my attempts to study that I don't like any of my subjects. In fact I don't like school and would like to drop out... Really convenient to lose all motivation day before my prelim exams... >_<

I know EXACTLY how you feel... chose subjects I thought would be fun rather than related to the degree/career I want to get into. It sure sucks, doesn't it?

Music exam wasn't too bad today, but it was just theory stuff, which isn't hard. It's the prac part that's making me want to drop, since my music tastes aren't really that wide unlike everyone else in that class, who'll listen to and perform everything and anything. Got Drama tomorrow, then Chem on Friday, which is the one that's freaking me out the most since I'm REALLY behind in that subject. Been studying for it, but can't find a single website that says in non-scientific terms what an empirical formula is.

Camp next week... year advisor shoved me in a cabin with the one person from my year who can't stand me. Also, no internet. I am NOT in the mood for this at all, but I can't back out this time because it cost $280...

Yeah, I memorised one beforehand, but halfway through my second body paragraph realised it was all gone from my brain. Probably a mixture of both factors I guess...oh well, prelims .

Modern, English and Chemistry down. Most annoying thing to realise during the exam that you made a mistake and run out of time at the end to correct it :/ Funny to see how strict some schools are about missing assessments since a girl in my class planned an overseas holiday during our yearlies and just got estimates for everything
