how come you miscarried every time?
My cousin wants to have kids, but she always has miscarriages.
Her doctor told her it's because she is over weight & that she needs to lose weight before she can have a baby!!

Hey Pink,

Things will get better after this. You must have only just fallen pregnant, therefore you have some time up your sleeve. First of all, get through your exams. Right now, they are important (if not the most important thing) and if you concentrate too much on other things you will regret it.

In my opinion, no matter how harsh and staunchly catholic your parents are, you are still their daughter. Therfore, they will (perhaps with time) recognise that you need them by you. I agree with your boyfriend that they probbaly need to know eventually. However, if there is no chance that they will take the news well, then of course, it's your choice not to tell them.

Secondly, remember that abortion is a big deal. No matter what anyone says, it'll stick with you forever, and if you ever have trouble falling pregnant in the distant future, you will look back and think, "maybe I've already had my chance".
However, sometimes abortion is the only option that you want to consider, which is entirely your choice.

Ultimately, do what you feel is right. Make sure that you discuss it openly with your boyfriend, because as much as everyone can say "it's the woman's choice", it is ALSO his choice. It's his baby too, don't forget that.

It'll all work out fine, and no matter what options you explore (abortion, adoption, keeping it), you will find one that will ultimately suit you.
Remember for next time, 2 types of contraception..go on the pill and even better, if the condom broke, go the the doctor, get the morning after pill. It's readily available for emergencies like that.

Good Luck Pink.

-Kat.

omg, i didn't think that would happen, since on the page before you said you were feeling period-like?? were they pregnancy symptoms?

hope you're ok, everything happens for a reason, situations like this turn out for the best, good luck!

thanks everyone for caring so much.
yeah i said i had period like symptoms but hey the must of been pregnancy ones.
this i going to be the probably the toughest thing ive ever gone through, but ive been through a lot before, and ive only gotten stronger. im not saying ive had a way bad life, but at times ive stuggled to keep my head above the water..when things were tough, i tried to committ suicide..but failed...and that was nothing comapred to this. but today, now, i know that ive since grown and im not that same person. im going to pull through this situation no matter what the option is, because i know im stronger than it.
my parents have a lot on, i know they want the best for me, but im going to do the best for them, and to me, thats not telling them unless i really have to. as much as i love them..i realise this is something that my boyfriend and i did, and we need to go through it together. we are responisble adults (maybe we once were...) and if we want to prove we still are, we are going to do this by ourselves.
to me, abortion is the better option. keeping the child, or going through with the pregnancy and putting it up for adoption, would be worse for me, my boyfriend, and the child. there is no possible way i can bring a child up safely and healthy at this moment in time.
ive reaserched it and everything, we can afford it financially, and hopefully emotionally. ive actually had a lot worse happen to me before, and i somehow know ill be alright, even though it may be hard.
my boyfriend and i have discussed the options, talked about it and talked about it. we both have come to the conlusion abortion is better for us/me. he wanted me to have an abortion, and was worried i wanted to keep it, but no, we agreed on termination.
my exams go for 2 1/2 weeks...i than have 2 1/2 weeks til my formal. so hopefully in that space of time i can have the abortion and recover properly.
thanks guys. if it was possible, i would give everyone of you a hug...nd remind me next may when im 18, to shout you all a drink somewhere :)

Perhaps you should go on the pill from now. Not being rude but it will prevent it from happening again. You don't need parents permission or anything so they don't have to know.

Get a pregnancy test asap if u think ur pregnant, don't put it off. better to know sooner then later. And I strongly recommend for you to go on the pill, since this is ur 2nd pregnancy scare.
Periods can be strange sometimes... Sometimes mine come regularly (every month - 4 weeks) but sometimes they can be irregular like every 6-7 weeks. That happens usually around spring/summer time or when i'm really stressed. so don't freak out just yet.

Btw, if your boyfriend knows ur parents are catholic then IS HE NUTS? Why on earth would he tell them (if u are pregnant and have an abortion)?? He should mind his own business, their ur parents not his.

A pregnant person should not take the pill. But in future, yes.

good luck pink. remember to stay focused on what needs to be focused, and talk to people, your friends, your boyfriend, so you don't feel alone

I was hardly suggesting she take it now. Hence why I said she could prevent this happening in the future.

thats disgusting concession!!!

i feel for you pink.. but im really glad that yo are confident with your decision. Ive had 3 scares in a row.. even though im on the pill.. my period is just retarded, it always arrives on a thursday- when its supposed to be the saturday BEFORE so you can see why i get freaked out.

Good luck with it all.. i wish you all the best!
