  • Hey hermand. :)

I have a few questions about DOE again for you, if it won`t out you into too much of a bind.

How many hours did you do for each area of your DOE when you handed it in for your Bronze? I have done 13 hours for my physical section and I`m having a gut feeling that it won`t suffice when I`m going to hand it in.

Did I have to do all my three activites in synchronisation? I haven`t gotten onto my skill yet and did my running instead due to the time constraints I had. Would they still acknowledge it? Or would I have to start skill`s section one more time?

    Thank you.
I use Maths in Focus, which is a pretty fundamental book. It's got nice proofs though. I also use Excel. Is Coroneos, a good book? I've had a look at it and it's really old school. His books are back in the days when they had 2/3 unit common!

What?! You don't study for 4 unit maths! I'm still struggling with 3 unit and I dedicate myself 7 hours on the weekends doing math exercises. Are you being serious?! Dites-moi la vérité!
Damn, you do 4 unit maths! What maths textbook do you use? How much time do dedicate each week for the subject? It looks like an awesome subject to study. Maths is cool.
hmm BOS is bad in that aspect- it can become addictive :mad1:

oh no!! i hope that your French exam wasn't as bad as you think and if everyone found the exam to be hard than that's a good thing! better than u finding it hard and the rest finding it easy.

but they eventually got the listening to work right??? =D

oh you lucky girl! that would have been a lovely break for you as well!! that's exactly what u need after exams! haha

and nowww.... we have work to do this week :jedi:

when you're in the mood and have spare time :)
yeahh everyone had the same problems and i came first last year so hopefully i can come first and then get a really good hsc mark =]].

In extension? If yes, then why did you drop it?!

Well, that's a spot of luck but at least you have a good one at least once a fortnight. At OHS, I only have 10 minutes to talk with my teacher. :(. Ça n'est pas suffit. She's an awesome teacher though.

Do you have two French teachers at your school? If yes, you're lucky! I only have one at mine and he speaks German. :(.

With your old teacher can't you get into contact with her/him? S/he should have at least asked for your email address. My old geography teacher did when she left for the private school across the road from my one.

Well it's a big contrast from year 10! I've discovered that I really need to work on my time organisation skills. :).
    heyy =]].

i would reply en francais, but i've turned my mind off for the first week of the holidays haha.

    lol!

my french is going allright thanks, my half yearly was a bit of a disaster, the listening didn't work, and the second reading task made no sense at all, so yeah. but it wasn't too bad.

Don't fret! There's always the trails. :) I'm sure you'll kick ass in that.

i do it at my school, do you do open high school?

Oui. C'est dur mais c'est mieux que rien. J'aime ça parce mon prof est une superfemme et me pousse beaucoup. Et vous? Comment va votre prof?

    Thanks for the DOE info.
    Hey, hermand.

J'éspere que vous alliez bien dans vos etudes francaises! Comment etudiez-vous le francais? Par votre lycee ou par l'Open High School?

OK, now in English! For your Duke of Edinburgh Award, who organised your adventure trek/trip thing? My supervisors have forgotten it already and I plan to go it alone, if I can.

    Thanks.:)
really?! did you just ask the moderators to ban you??

how did you find your half yearly exams??

    how was French?! :D

yeh i've been okk.. trying to enjoy my holidays :) only have 2 weeks and have got a heap of assessments! :mad1:hbu?
