This guy was in both my extension Math and English classes. Probably the only person who could explain something to me in a perfectly logical and rational manner. I would want my essays marked by him..
No, not necessarily people who want to become writers or poets at all. A state ranking mark is probably at minimum a 98. If you would like a sample I can send you one, just email me :)
From my own personal experience, as Sinawi mentioned the creative does require less time hence less words. In my opinion 1200-1500 for the creative may cut it and 1600-1900 for the essay would be acceptable. The minimum and maximum I have specified are linked, so the less you write for the...
Joseph, your raw marks are almost completely irrelevant. Telling us how you ranked in those subjects and the rank of your school would be a much better way to get an accurate assessment of the situation.

Does the picture itself have a title? It is important to think about how you will refer to it throughout your essay because repeating "the picture from" could get tedious and would make valid points lose sophistication in the eyes of the marker. The second question you should ask yourself is...
Try searching for "comics", "cartoons", "caricatures" related to immigration or belonging, they are a great text type and lend themselves to a lot of deep analysis. Most allow you to analyse literary techniques, visual aids as well as many hidden attributes. You will be able to dwell deeper than...
