Re: Future Plans: What UAI/course/job are you aiming for?

I'm aiming for between 80 and 90.

I have a scholarship to USW if I can get a UAI of 90<, and if I can get that, I'll do English Literacy. If not, I'm aiming for at least 85.5 so I can do a Bachelor of Museum Curatorship and History at Maquarie.

Re: Future Plans: What UAI/course/job are you aiming for?

Im not too sure i keep changin my mind, but atm im thinkin about Eng/Commerce with majors in either civil, mechanical or others and for the commerce major in eco, management or accounting preferably at unsw coz i heard its the best for engineering but the only thing holding me back is the 5.5 year length of the degree

oh and the uai is 95.2

if i dont get that then id like to do a B. Eng in whatever major at unsw uai is 88

any recomendations on the best major for eng, like which gets the most pay, which is most convenient lol

Re: Future Plans: What UAI/course/job are you aiming for?

UAI of about 80-85 but i'd be ok with around 75+.
I'm thinking of doing either B Engineering (Chemical) or B Pharmaceutical Science or (MAYBE) B Molecular Biology or something similar. If those don't work out, maybe B Science or B Science/B Teaching... but I'm still trying to sort out what I wanna do :)

I might not do eng/commerce anymore...
The unsw guy at the smh expo said it isnt worth the extra 1.5 years, and its boring apparantly...
so I might just do photovoltaic engineering @ unsw then :) but still thinking about it...

I wish you luck with that :D glad to see your positive!

Me, I'm not sure, hopefully above 75, because to get into performing arts, I do have to audition, and usually everywhere I've looked at for an option to attend hasn't released a cutoff UAI, just says have your UAI + audition. So, I don't know.

Re: Future Plans: What UAI/course/job are you aiming for?

After about the millionth time that ive changed my mind,
Ditto. 3 months ago I was for Physiotherapy @USyd
2 months- I had some perspective hit me and I was for Bachelor of Physical Development teaching @ USYD
1 month- still for above
Last week- for the first half was for some course @ Wollongong so I could transfer into Physiotherapy, and the 2nd half of the week I wanted to do a Bachelor of Tourism/International studies @ UTS to move over to France...but, the employment market is shit, apparently.

Where shall I be next week? :O

Re: Future Plans: What UAI/course/job are you aiming for?

Hmm im aiming for something in the 90s.

I want to get either a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Journalism)
or Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Media Arts and Production) at UTS and they both require a fairly high UAI mark.... if i dont get in the 90s then i will probably get a degree in Criminology,

After that im going to audition of NIDA when im 21...

@ UNSW:
Either
Computer Science or
Computer Science/Civil(probably) Engineering.

Not sure if it's worth doing the extra years for engineering.. I know it's good for job security and shit in the future, but I'm not aiming to be an Engineer?

Also, agree with the above. Hurrah for HSC PLUS!

My boyfriend does this course, apparently the first year is pretty bad but after that the units start to get really good.

Aiming to get into Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Media Arts and Production) at UTS... film directing and stuff essentially is what I want to do. Found out that the last cutoff was 94.00, I only think I'll get high 80s... :/
