Most weeks are between 20 and 30 hours. It's only because we've got a show going up that it's so busy.

I think Medicine would be objectively the hardest, because each year you can be tested on anything you learned right from 1st year, while the rest of us get to forget 1st and 2nd year content the moment we walk out of the exam hall. The standards are higher, too, and the exam questions can be about extremely specific aspects of any of the very large volume of content you have to teach yourself over the year. It's like doing a whole BSc worth of content every semester.

I think maths is over rated, once you grasp how to solve xyz type of problem you're sweet, you can get 90+ no problems. Mastering arts stuff is harder (but passing is easier because of the BS factor).

Well all these opinions are useless because i don't think theres anyone who's done engineering/medicine/law etc anyway

4th year VIA (vertically integrated assessment) tests the content learned in years 1-4.
everything is interlinked so u really have to recall content all the way from first year in order to understand new principles. that being said, medicine is pretty easy imo.

Yeah but you study different systems in 2nd year to 1st year so it's not necessarily related on that level

everything I said came straight from a UWS med student in any case

the extra testing done for entry ensures only the best get a chance to see what its like anyway so even if it is relatively easy for most med students, most students even those in engineering would find it very hard

It raises the notion of relative - like in the other thread.
I completely agree. Different people find different things difficult or easy. I personally find commerce easy, whereas some other people that I know find it very challenging. Its just depends on the person's abilities.

I have done 4 uni degrees. Relative hardness in this order:

Engineering >>> Science (Nanotechnology) >> Business/Economics > Education

Engo is hard as!

Some of the harder physics courses are also really hard, but nothing compares to an engineering workload. 30+ face to face hours/week from 1st year. Crazy!

Business, well.. yeah.. Only hard part are the essays as I suck at English

and Education, lmfao.
