I got a section of maths back a few days ago. The non-calculator one - full marks! :p

SOOO don't want to see my history, geo or english marks....
Congratulations :) I predict that your history, geo and english marks will be very high :uhhuh: Being pessimistic about it will usually get you the good grades.

But I've always been pessimistic before I get my marks back in history and geo :(
And your theory didn't apply :(
Thanks anyway..:(
But then it's not like I'd kill myself if I failed them....it's got more to do with my self-esteem :)....
It's all good

I'm kind of happy with my results, but not really as I'm striving for Band 6 in the humanities, and at the moment am so close

History 43/50 = 86%. Miraculously topped the grade in the trial. With that mark, I'm not sure how

Geography 44/50 = 88% Have no idea how I went regarding rankings

English 75/90 = 85% Very happy I did well in creative writing, because I have never done that well before. Multiple choice is so my weakness
Multiple Choice 33/50
Viewing and Representing 14/15
Extended response 9/10
Creative Writing 19/20

Maths 62/100 = 62% I hate maths with a passion, and am not doing it next year, but still don't want a Band 2 on my school certificate!

Science Have not got paper back as science teachers at my school are all incompetent.

Good job in the Geography, History and English. LOL, I suck at Multiple Choice as well because I over-interpret the question and doubt myself too much
Nah - you'll at least get Band 5 in your SC with that 62% Maths trial result.

Science 81% (happy; average was 60s =/)
English - 75% (phail >_>)
Maths - 89% (=| too many stupid mistakes...)
History - 86% (o_o; expected less)
Geography - 86.25% (happy; expected less)
Visual arts - 95% (amazingly with my bullshitted answers and very little study)
PE - 84.5% (top mark in my class, which is weird because it's the subject I don't care about at all -_-)
IST 94% - (top mark in year :))

Looks like I'm fairly consistent :p Except for English (=fail)

They do realign marks in the SC, so if you repeat those results in the actual SC, you should get a B6 in both humanities.

Usually im a good student even though i go to a public school. Often i study hard out before any test but before my trials i got star wars: the force unleashed and i could n't be bothered to study. i just went in to the hall and used my skills. here r my results:

Maths: 92% (my best subject. i got a band 6 and the top mark with no study, though i prob could've got like 98 if i did study)

Science: 84% (not bad at all. i could've done better if the teachers had given us revision at school rather than go on strike.)

english: 77% ( my worst subject. do u guys reckon that english is a subject which makes u bad at maths? i was studying hard out for english at the beg of the yr cause it was my main weakness but for some strange reason i kept doing bad at math even though i kept getting band 6s in english. man that MC is hard.)

geography: 90% (guess i got lucky)

history: 90% ( my teacher lost my paper and made me do it again so its no wonder that i ddi this well.)

Electronics: 95% ( fluke, i had a newb teacher who had no idea of what she was doing. i was bored heaps in electronics so i jigged school alot during that period. dont know how i got the top mark for it).

i reckon i did pretty well for some1 who didnt study. all im worrying bout know is english. im good at writing( in fact in every writing assement i've had this year i've only lost half a mark. what i need to know is multiple choice. even my teachers dont know how to answer it!)

2009 preliminary subjects:

maths adv
maths ext 1
adv eng
physics
chemistry
bioligy
legal studies( bludge)

Anyone got theirs back yet? If so, how did you go?

Regrets? Thoughts? Frustration? Elation?
Hahahahaha, I got exactly 69 in three of my exams. The others were 70s and an 85 :)

I think that is the most frustrating thing ever... in SO many of my exams I was 1 or 2% off a full ten number. It sounds so much better that way.

My trials ranged from 52.5% to 87% :D

I actually have a tiny thing for one of my teachers (not one whose subject I got 69 in though) but damn it would be so interesting to find out the subliminal message :D

Then again I have no intention of breaking the law!
