Get Kasper back.

And its funny how people maybe recognising Warnie as an allrounder now.

I remember checking PWC ratings a few years ago, 2002 probably, and that Warne pretty much remained 4th the whole time after Zulu, Shaun MP is the place to be, and Cairns. and then Jayasuriya was fifth. I think thats how it was. But Warne has been an allrounder in PWC eyes. Someone go check the LG allrounder ratings

Uh huh; In my previous post, I meant Kallis instead of Jayasuriya. Mix up there. Anyway, current LG rankings;

1. Kallis
2. Flintoff
3. Pollock
4. Jayasuriya
5. Vettori < < < Wtf?

Jacques doesn't have runs for NSW yet. Hodges has a squillion runs in the domestic comp and for many years. He wont play many if any tests but he deserves a call up. Cimply for the sustained run scoring over the years.
asqy, go back 2 your left wing antics and leave the cricket talk 2 people who know what their talking about.... jacques had been the mose consistant batsmen in australia over the last 2 years... he deserves a chance and he had scored over a 1000 runs in county cricket this year... i dont think you know anything about cricket. leave it to me

I dont like Poms. I love the Barmy Army. Bloody legends. I went to and England game about two years ago when they came. And I took a spare shirt along so I could get Barmy Army autographs. I got a fair few, and being as drunk as they were, you can't really make out what they're names are.

Thnaks Bill. Hodge is a fuck who does not warrant selection ahead of Jaquesy. But then again, if we were to use Pura Cup as selection warrant, Bevan should be there as well.

I do agree that Kallis is class but he is not much of a bowler, he is an awesome batsman: average of 56+ i think!!

But his bowling does suck. Nowadays we do not get those allrounders who could take ten wickets and score 100s in the same game with the likes of:
Botham, Dev, Khan, Hadlee
Allrounders should be encouraged but they are not cause if ur an allrounder u will be but down the batting order and will bowl 3rd/4th change in rep crick. U would prob have to be a freak to bat high up and open or bowl 1st change.

Anyway Hayden should definitely be dropped and Gillespie's time is up.
Warne is still shithouse in his batting even though he is on 78. England are overconfident and are still bowling Giles when they know that Gillespie and Waren pick him very easily.

First of all, kallis is a great all rounder and i cant wait for the vb series this summer (south africa, sri lanka and australia........its gonna b heaps competitive)

How in the fuck can you say that warne's batting is shithouse

do u know anything about cricket

honeslty....what the fuck
I sure know a lot more than u

Have u seen Warne Bat? He has definitely pulled something out of his arse. Although he has batted well, u cannot say that he is a good batsman.

South Africa over here will be awesome. The test series should be good too cause they havent played in a while, and they have a strong team. I really like watching Gibbs and Smith tear up the openers.

Warnie's been brill with the bat. Put our top order to shame these past two innings.

He's always had the potential but now that he's more focussed he's looking a top batsman.

kallis used to be a decent bowler ... but he's pretty much given up on bowling in recent years, especially since returning from injury... warnie is very inconsistent with his batting. he's not shithouse, he can bat if he apply himself(which he doesnt) but too often he just throws his wicket away ... but then alot of times the we already have a big total so ididnt matter.

there are very little genuine classy allrounders nowadays, but u'd rather have batsmen and bowlers who are good enough at their respective discipline rather than forcing yourself to look for an all rounder that couldnt do either job adequately (ala england in the post botham period)

Warnes been a form batsman in the county comp.

Being a Protea man myself, I'm gonna stick by the boys. Kallis is a fucking legend and he would make a lot of teams with his bowling alone (seeing as his bowling average is 29 or thereabouts). My fave player Shaun Pollock in my biased opinion is the best allrounder there is. Battin average of 35 and a bowling average of 20. Pretty fucking decent.

Last summer, as a number 8 batsman, I had a batting average of 17 (great for 32 over matches) and a bowling average of 8. I think LG should rank me there somewhere as well.

you're a wanker

bullshit u know a lot more than me

yes ive seen him bat

how in the fuck can you say that he's pulled something out of his arse. this is someone whos got first class centuries a few times now, and lots of decent scores for australia, and now against a high quality bowling attack has played 2 brilliant innings in a row....thats not just luck. sure he's not a specialist batsman, but he's definitely not shithouse u arrogant little shit
haha
are u constantly on BoS or what? Anyway just voicing my opinion.
Ok it was a bit harsh to call him shit but he has played well but i dont think he can consistantly play well as it has been shown. Again just voicing my opinion, nothing to fret about. Just saying that I actually play cricket, unlike you probably, cause you are on BOS 24/7 i see (although it is winter...haha). Doesnt matter.

Warnie has played really well, i'll give him that. Just really annoyed at our other batsmen, with the likes of langer, hayden, gilly, etc... who got starts but couldn't go on. They need some confidence and need to treat the bowling with a little respect, not much but still a little bit is needed.

Yeah, on the plus side it stops me from falling asleep. Gawd he's a boring fuck as a batsman.
