Hey Ya by Obadiah Parker is way better than Outkast's version. Also Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley

I found TPUSA version of video killed the radio star cringe worthy lol.

Might have a listen to those covers of Africa and Sweet Dreams, I think I'll be disappointed though.

One of the few songs I do prefer is Pseudo Echos 'Funky Town' over the (apparently) Lipps Inc.

Andy McKee's is a solo acoustic guitar version. If you like that sort of thing, then it's a great version. Mansons cover gives the song an ironic edge. It's nothing like the original

Another one that will be mentioned for sure is Johnny Cash's version of Hurt.

I'm fonder of Johnny Cash's NIN cover of 'Hurt'. Unbelievably good cover it is..

Use somebody by Hayley Williams (paramore) originally kings of leon

Just changed my opinion of paramore
right on. except for the part where paramore is a band, not just hayley williams. also, off the top of my head .. most of these probably aren't 'better' than the originals, but i happen to enjoy them more

Superstar-Sonic Youth (Originally The Carpenters) absolutely amazing, if you never heard it download it, It has a really edgy eerie feel to it, Alot more different than Karen Carpenters voice.
